Labourers General Hands

Our client is renowned for processing the highest of quality pork products for domestic and international markets. Their abattoir based in Port Wakefield is requiring labourers and general hands to commence in their ever growing processing team.   

The Role

Work on fast paced production lines
Packing, sorting, weighing and labeling of meat products
Machine operation 
Work in chilled temperature rooms below 10 degrees
Working with raw meat and in dirty and smelly conditions
Lifting up to 20kgs
Repetitive work requiring good hand eye co-ordination for quality standards 
Requirements for the role

Ability to work in a fast paced environment conducting repetitive tasks
Possess a hard working attitude and the ability to communicate and work with a wide diversity of people, co-workers, supervisors and managers 
Commitment to following and adhering to occupational health and safety practices
Access to reliable transport
Guaranteed commitment to shift times; being flexible and punctual
Ability to pass Pre-employment medical which includes drug and alcohol testing
