Friendly Australian family seeking a full-time, live-in aupair/ nanny to care for our happy, polite and very outgoing 10 yo son. We both work in ‘essential services’ so are you must be prepared to abide by government advice on social distancing and avoidance of coronavirus hotspots.
Our home is located in the Hunter Valley, NSW near Singleton (about 45min from Newcastle).

Essential:
•full driver’s license (must be able to demonstrate driving competency on arrival)
•non-smoker & no drug taking
•a desire to share your culture and learn about ours
•friendly, happy personality with a caring nature
In return for caring for our son whilst we are at work, and some basic cooking and cleaning, we offer full board (including all meals and your own room with ensuite), a car for reasonable personal use in the local area, inclusion on family holidays and activities, and pocket money.
If you just want to watch TV, play on your computer and stay in your room – we are not your family! We are seeking someone who would enjoy being a member of our family, not just hired help, and who is enthusiastic about experiencing lots of new things.
If you are active and enthusiastic and don’t mind a few early mornings then you might be the person we are looking for! Our son does a lot of sport, especially swimming and tennis, so mornings and afternoons are a bit busy, but you will have plenty of free time during the day while he is at school.
We enjoy showing our aupairs Australia and its unique places and things. Some of the things we have done with our previous aupairs have included:
•whale and dolphin watching cruises
•beach and bush 4wding
•kangaroo, koala and other native animal patting
•travelling to the QLD, SA & NSW outback
•bush camping
•caving and bushwalking
•mine tours
•flying (paragliders, helicopters)
•snow skiing
•swimming with sharks
and many other fun experiences.
