Job Description

Experienced Chef wanted to live onsite as part of package at newly renovated country hotel with main road frontage.
Accommodation & Meals provided
The role:
• You will be responsible for day-to-day running of kitchen operations – preparation of lunch and dinner service.
• You will be passionate about your craft, displaying high standards of food production and presentation.
• You will have a good understanding of and the ability to maintain food safety standards and audit temperature checks daily.
• You will ensure that all the storage areas in the kitchen are set up in line with food safety guidelines.
• You will be responsible for maintaining sufficient food stock in the kitchen and placing the food orders with approved suppliers.
• You will ensure safety, security and legislative requirements are being met.

To be successful in this role:
• Must have a current QLD Food Safety Certificate or be prepared to get one ASAP and hold a Covid-Safe for Dining In Certificate.
• Previous experience as a Sous/Head chef, preferably in a hotel environment
• A positive, genuine, friendly and team focused attitude
