Seeding Operator And General Farmhand

Pendalup Ag are seeking a motivated individual to join our team for the upcoming seeding season from Early April until the end of June 2021.
We are a young, family run, broadacre cropping business that grow primarily barley, wheat and canola. We are located in Ongerup, 400km South East of Perth WA, 150km North East of Albany and a short distance to the Stirling Ranges National Park, Fitzgerald National Park and Bremer Bay.

The successful applicant/s will have the opportunity to:
 Operate a tractor towing either the seeder, rock picker or fertiliser spreader
 Complete general farmhand duties including assisting with mechanical maintenance and repairs, fencing, working with sheep, manual labour etc.
 Work in a friendly environment
 Receive hourly pay ranging between $25-$30/hour subject to experience and performance
 Work towards the 88 day requirement for a second year WHV
 Work long hours with lunch and dinner provided on seeding days
 Be accommodated on farm in a private room within a house shared by other staff

Applicants must
 Be an Australian citizen or hold a valid working visa
 Be located within WA by no later than 1st March 2021
 Hold a current manual driver’s licence
 Speak and read English fluently
 Show initiative, good work ethic and a willingness to learn
 Be able to work in a team environment and follow instructions
 Be willing to work long hours
 Provide a resume and references
