Labelling And Packing

We are seeking farmhand to join our friendly, relaxed team. The role involves labelling & packing honey and other related honey products and the opportunity to work at the retail shop

The House of Honey is located in Perth’s Swan Valley (25mins away from the CBD). We showcase a range of unpasteurized honey and other bee-related products. We practice sustainable farming in beekeeping and educate the public about the importance of the bee world. The House of Honey is a positive, friendly and rewarding workplace.
• Immediate start.
• Casual position: Tuesday to Friday with possible weekend work
• No fieldwork with bees required

Skills required
• Proactive, punctual and a self-starter
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Energetic, reliable, fast learner and a good communicator
• Have a good sense of humour
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent personal presentation
• Able and willing to do manual handling, repetitive lifting

Your duties would include
• Labelling of honey products
• Monitoring and assessing stock levels
• Packing of honey and other bee-related products
• Achieve company’s objectives in meeting production deadlines
• Meet the companies’ policies and procedures on quality control
• Meet and comply with food and safety standards
• Creating a positive and productive work environment
• Extracting Honey in Morangup Site (25 mins from The House of Honey)
• Assist Retail Shop- stocking shelves and customer service (retail duties)
• Kitchen duties

This is an opportunity to join a small, dynamic, rapidly expanding business that is focused on quality products, sustainability and tourism in the Swan Valley.
