We are a caviar producing fish farm in rural Victoria (eligible for 2nd-3rd year WHV), 2 hours from Melbourne CBD.
For immediate start we are looking for a few staff members to join our seafood processing team.
Highly regarded skills:
-Knowledge of Food Safety
Also for our upcoming harvest season (start 10th of May) we are looking to employ a crew of 12 people.
Applicants must be able to do heavy lifting, follow instructions, work in the weather (sun, rain, cold) and work well in a team.
The job includes:
-Dragging nets through ponds
-Manual handling of fish (massaging the eggs out of the belly cavity)
-Moving equipment between ponds
Award wage of $24.80/hour, ongoing work for a minimum of 4 weeks (as primary industry we won't be impacted in case of lockdown). Potential of more work after the harvest for the right candidates.
