Farm Work And Weed Picking On Gorgeous 130 Acre Farm

We are looking for fit , motivated people to help with weed picking and other jobs on our farm.

The accomodation would suit a couple, or 2 good friends who are happy to share a double bed.
Pick up / drop off is from Berry train station. Berry is an easy 3 hour train trip from Central train station in Sydney, on the south Coast line, requires one change at Kiama station and if you sit on the east side you will see coastal scenery. Our farm is located in Wattamolla, a 10 minute drive from Berry.

5 days work is being offered , 8 hours per day , $160 per day, per person . If the weather is bad and its too wet to pick , you are welcome to extend your stay to ensure 5 days of work is achieved

Picking weeds is not difficult, but you will spend your working days in the paddocks, so bring hats, sunscreen, water bottles, covered shoes and wet weather jackets.
Our farm is not registered to supply work for those looking for visa extensions so your time with us will not go towards your application.

Accomodation will be in our small dairy room which has a microwave, kettle, toaster, crockery, small bar sized fridge, heater and a double bed with all linen with, an electric blanket and towels.
You will need to bring your own food and prepare your own meals. Berry has an IGA supermarket, weekly farmers market and we can take you to town as needed to buy supplies.
Outside is a large gas BBQ with all kitchen utensils, pots pans etc .Your own bathroom facilities are in the farmhouse, a 50 metre walk away. You are welcome to use our laundry facilities .

Please note No smoking in buildings.
Due to the current COVID situation, please respect social distancing guidelines and adhere to hand hygiene when you enter and leave the farmhouse. Our small community is Covid19 free and you must not of have been unwell, infected or in contact with Covid 19 individuals within 3 weeks of your arrival to our farm. You will find Wattamolla a perfect place to practice social isolation !

We have had 36 backpackers to date help us and they have all really enjoyed the experience.
We are a married couple in our early 60's who love our country life , and the beautiful place we call home . We have thoroughly enjoyed having backpackers from many countries come to work with us over the past 2.5 years , and still remain in contact with many who we now consider family ; we hope you will enjoy our time with us as well .
