Chef - Townsville

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and proactive full-time chef or cook to join us at a waterfront Bar and Grill in Townsville.

Reporting to the Head Chef and Sous Chef on a daily basis, here are some of your tasks your will perform daily.

• Working in a busy Ala Carte kitchen.
• Working with large teams of staff
• Abiding by all strict current COVID-19 hygiene and social distancing requirements
• Managing other kitchen staff
• Occasional function work as required.
• Working within guidelines of HACCP standards
• Recording wastage as required
• Experience working in a hands-on bistro style kitchen.
• Uncompromising attitude towards high food quality, presentation, and safety
• Strong communication skills and grace under pressure
• Excellent planning skills and the ability to think on your feet.
Essential Requirements:
• 2 year plus experience is a similar environment.
• Cert III in Commercial Cookery or higher
• Full working rights in Australia
On Offer:
• $65k per annum with a probation of 6 months then a 5k pay rise to 70k providing targets are being met.
