Couple Required For Farm Work!

Hello Travellers!
We are looking for a couple to come and help us on our Beef Cattle Farm North of Roma in QLD in May 2021.

A bit about us:
Were a young family of 5 (2 children attend school (9 years old, 5 years old), 1 attends Kindy (3.5years old)). We operate our Beef Cattle Farm approx. 45Mins North of Roma. We are quite busy attending to this property and another, 2 hours away. Around working we love to have BBQs with neighbours and friends, go exploring, kayaking in the dams etc.
Roma is our local town and has a Woolworths and other shops and Restaurants etc, we find everything we need there.

A bit about the Job:
Applicants need to be willing to give anything a try and have a great attitude and common sense approach! Experience would be great but not essential.
Help in the house with the kids, washing, gardening, mowing, cleaning, bathing, kids dinners etc
Help in the paddock with mustering, putting out lick, yard work, fencing, checking waters. Ability to operate machinery (tractor, dozer) would be handy but not essential. Some help at other property, possibly fencing for a few days at a time.
You must be able to work unsupervised, and have great listening skills.
We like to plan our weeks out so you know what’s happening, we find writing lists out can be really helpful so you can get on with your day if we’re not here or are busy doing other things.
Monday to Friday - Things change every day on the farm but most of the time you would start at 8am – with a lunch break etc. We need to be able to call on you for occasional overnight babysitting of kids and during July we will have a week mustering at our other property – where we may need you to be here for multiple nights with the kids, but would work toward that. Flexibility is a must!
Accommodation: 3 bedroom cottage, 1 bathroom, fireplace, large kitchen, veranda, Tv. It’s a nice little cottage down from the main house, with surrounding garden.
This can be used for 2nd year visa.
Wage – Award wage in line with Pastoral Level 1 ($753.80 per week) plus super at 9.5%. There will be a cost for accommodation, electricity, water, fuel.
You take care of your own food, having a car would be great but not essential, you can borrow one from here, and utilize our fuel to get to town.
2 week probation period just to make sure both parties are happy with everything.
