Job Description

Farmstay. Come and stay in beautiful gippsland on a small beef cattle farm with ponies, a nursery, and veggie patch.learn all about living and working on a farm in exchange for accomodation and food. A few hours a day help and we train you so you can get experience at farm work. We are still within a 2hour bus trip of melbourne city so you can still get around if you don't have a car.
We have references on other work exchange sites, safe location for girls. Non smokers please.

work exchange 4 hours day 5 days a week, at our beautiful farmstay in south gippsland. own room and double bed. cattle, ponies, cats, chooks, orchard and nursery, wicking bed veggie patch to come.non smokers please. easy going older couple in our 60s living quietly but able to hold an intelligent conversation and fond of a good red with dinner occasionally. we are 5k out of town but can give you a lift in daily to the local small town and there's a 2 hour bus trip to Melbourne for tourist activities. we'd like a bit of help around the place with the nursery, (horse training skills would be a bonus) and all those things that need to be done about a farm like loading up the wood box, feeding animals, pruning, potting, weeding and repairing fences and building sheds etc. own room, dble bed, we do ask that as you share our home, you clean up after yourself. we have internet with limited downloads. Optus works here.
