The award winning Ocean Park Aquarium is looking for an enthusiastic qualified chef to head our kitchen. Start as soon as possible

The aquarium operates guided tours to see native marine life of Shark Bay. Oceans Restaurant caters to that tourist trade as well as local residents and is known for fresh, modern Australian cuisine, the best coffee on the Coral Coast and it's breathtaking ocean views.

Stunning coastal location in the Shark Bay Marine Park and World Heritage Area
Open every day for breakfast and lunch service 9am-3pm. No dinner service - have the evenings off!
Passionate and friendly front of house team.
We're offering a 6-12 month contract with a 1 month trial period.
Accommodation can be arranged.

Applicants must be
Qualified with at least 2 years experience in the hospitality industry.
Organised and clean.
Passionate about food with a creative flair.
Confident and motivated.
Able to work solo, you'll be responsible for the running of the kitchen, with another chef to train you, cover weekends and work with you when it is busy

The position will involve
Minimum 35 hrs/ Max 55 hrs, season dependant.
Stock ordering and control.
Prep and service.
Cleaning schedules.
Working alone in slow periods, with a hand/ second chef in peak times
