Bar Tender

The family owned Pinnaroo Hotel in the heart of the Mallee region in South Australia is looking for an enthusiastic person to join the team. The pub is a fun place to work, with live music, welcoming locals, delicious food and a young crew of staff. Start from 10th April 2021. The position is live-in, with comfortable accommodation with shared kitchen and bathroom with other staff at the hotel provided. Duties include bar tending, some kitchen duties, cleaning guest accommodation, restocking cool rooms and fridges, running errands and laundry. Hours are 30-40+ a week. Experience in hospitality is ideal but not essential as training is provided on the job. RSA certificate will need to be obtained within 1 month of starting work. Successful applicant will have decent English skills. We ask for a minimum commitment of 3 months, with the opportunity to stay on longer. Couples are encouraged to apply.
Pinnaroo is a friendly country town only an hour away from the Riverland and Bordertown, 2.5hrs away from Adelaide with busses going to and from Adelaide daily. The hotel is in the Main Street and very close to all amenities, with a community gym directly across the street.
