Housekeeping Position (FT) to start as soon as possible to
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an enthusiastic person to join the housekeeping team at Cooper’s Country Lodge located near the Eromanga Natural History Museum. Your key responsibilities will be to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation are achieved and maintained through effective teamwork, planning and dedication. It is a fast-paced and highly rewarding position that requires a highly motivated and focused individual who is able to assist in all housekeeping departments including cleaning, laundry and rooms.
We also endeavour to give all our team members some exposure where possible, to other areas of the museum, such as helping out in the cafe, tour guiding and reception.
Our new team members will have:
• Excellent customer service skills;
• Strong attention to detail;
• Demonstrated ability to clean guest rooms;
• Demonstrated ability to clean public areas and back of house facilities;
• Demonstrated ability to work in a small commercial-style laundry;
• Assist with the museum and Cooper’s Country Lodge catering
• Responsibility to order consumables and food
• Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised and within a team environment;
• Demonstrated ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines;
• Ability to work on-site in a rotating roster including occasional night work, weekends and public holidays; and
• Basic to intermediate computer and social media skills
• Other tasks as directed

ABOUT STAFF ACCOMMODATION
A brand new modern, spacious 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms furnished house is available in Eromanga for this position. The house has a large fenced yard and garage/shed. Ideal for sharing. Rental is $140 per week. Full signal 4G Telstra mobile reception available.
