Looking for an active live in nanny to drive our kids to school and pick them up again and take them to sport and practice with them. We would like some light cleaning chores around the house done as well as laundry. Think 10 hours driving and 10 hours house chores like shopping and cleaning helping with the kids. Open to extra hours depending on skills, cooking, gardening. If you need study time then maybe you only do 20 hours.
Roughly 20 - 30 hours but we can decide that up front, weekends free but you can join us if you like. Monday to Friday about 4-6 hours a day but happy for you to get it all done in a couple of days.
A typical day would be
1. 1.5 hours pickup/drop off driving our car, 8am and 3pm
2. get the shopping or cleaning done (probably only a couple of days)
3. In the middle of the day, go to the city or the beach or cook or whatever you like.
4. Weekends completely free but you can use all of our toys like kayaks and surfboards and stand up paddle boards to go in the lake or the beach.
Family
We are a young cool active family, with 2 very happy, smart kids. Boy is 10 and loves sport and computer games and girl is 12 and also loves sport and computer games . Both parents are professional and work from home. So we want someone who is active and gets out and about.
House
We live 10 min walk from Narrabeen Beach and next to the Narrabeen Lagoon. Very close to Manly and 1 hour to Sydney city by bus. We are close to hiking and Pittwater, shopping centres, and we are super close to one of the best surf beaches in Australia, North Narrabeen also others like Collaroy, Longreef, Mona Vale, Manly, beaches.

HOURS
Mon - Friday 7-9am & 3-6pm
School drop off and pick up about 30 mins each way
Light chores, cooking, house cleaning in the middle of the day but happy to leave some days free in the middle so you can get stuff done and go to the city or beach or study. Pretty flexible on the chores but school pickup and drop off is a hard deadline. Kids to school at 9am and picked up at 3:10. This is 30 mins from our house so need to leave early to get there on time. Can’t be late ever!


We are very easy going and laid back but we are also neat, organised and love routine. You won’t be cleaning up after us.
The kids are very active and we have adventures every weekend which you are welcome to come on but don’t have to and do you own thing. They are super fun and have great sense of humour and are very affectionate. They clean up after themselves and study and work like the rest of us.
They have sports activities and love scooters and bike rides. Skateboarding and hiking, arts and crafts and of course movies.
We have a bike for you too
We also have a lovely dog, who loves the walks if you need a walking / running buddy.

Your Room
Our house is newly bought so we are still learning but we love it, very beachy bungalow. You have your own room and bathroom we also have fast wifi and Netflix.

We are very open minded down to earth,cool parents, your life is yours.
We eat well , exercise and like to make the most of living by the coast .

Ideally you have previous experience and generally love being with kids. You don’t mind being active and happy to do some housework , food preparation and supervising the kids with homework
