Is there anyone left in Australia who wants to work on our strawberry fields from now to the end of September?
We need people (like all other farmers in Australia). But good people who want to work and come to this area (we are only 60kms north of Brisbane).
We are a group of small individual family farms. If you want to work for a massive, international fruit picking company, with hundreds and hundreds of others on the farm - then that is not us.
We have super working conditions (some farms are hourly - and that is $27.15 an hour including Superannuation - and some farms have generous piecework rates). All farms pay Superannuation. All farms are eligible for a second or third visa.
And we will all help you claim up to $2000 expenses (for visa holders) and $6000 if you are an Australian. That is if you relocate to our area and are now more than 150kms away. We can let you know what to collect in the way of receipts BEFORE you move from where you are.
You will also go into the draw our Strawberry Association has put on to be able to win $100,000 if you're on our farms at the very end.
Our season goes from now to end of September or into early October.
There is accommodation in a share house at your expense, near our farms. There is transport available. Couple rooms available. Ask me for the rates.
Email me and I'll let you know more.
