Job Description
We're looking for a part-time carer for our 17 yo Autistic daughter. She is very easygoing and independent and has a great sense of humour.
We need someone that can be available 2pm to 5pm, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday each week. Extra hours may also be available during the week from time to time.
The role involves: school pick-ups; helping her with her after-school jobs; some cooking and being on hand to help with her therapy sessions.
The ideal person for us will have the following:
- a great sense of humour;
- a current drivers license;
- a passion for working with children and young people; and
- a willingness to learn about disabilities.
As we live in the Perth Hills you must have access to a car. However when on the job, you will have our family car to use.
We will be paying $30 per hour plus super. We may also be able to help with accommodation for the right person.
