The Econnect Solar brand is friendly and charismatic, and we want to see applicants that know how to build rapport. We pride ourselves on our customer service, and our ability to explain the benefits of solar power in a way that everyone can understand.
For this role, no experience is necessary. Although it may help your application get noticed, we are more interested in people that work hard, have a knack for building relationships and are quick learners. The solar industry is competitive, and we need the successful candidate to be able to explain to potential customers why Econnect Solar is the best company to choose.
What will the role entail?
Participating in a 1 month community Project in the Cairns region you will undergo extensive sales training to understand the product and service we offer inside and out, and effectively communicate the values of the Econnect Solar brand.
The training will build your confidence to help continue Econnect Solar's rapid growth, and you will move through two phases of training and development if you succeed in the role and are chosen to move forward after the initial Project
Phase One: You will communicate with customers to build relationships with potential customers in Cairns and surrounding regions. You will earn commission for setting up free energy assessments with Australian homeowners who will benefit from getting solar installed on their roof.
Phase Two: If you stand out and perform at a high level whilst on the Cairns Project, showing consistent results, with strong skills in closing techniques, pitch structure, rapport building and upselling, you will be identified as a candidate for progression to Phase Two. You will then be given the option to become a full time member of the Econnect Team if you choose to accept. This can lead to many positive career progression opportunities in the future.
