A position is available for a couple who love animals and are not afraid of a bit of hard and dirty work. Pacifica is in Eugowra, central west NSW on 2500 acres. We run 1000 head of Boer Goat and are just concluding our Autumn kidding season. We will be kidding again in Spring and have about 350 kids to birth. Daily duties will be directly associated with daily care of the goats kidding. Mainly cleaning out pens, raking and cleaning yards, moving animals around and feeding goats. In general, you will be assisting with the daily care of the does and their kids. If you like animals you will enjoy your time here, but it can be hard work with a fair bit of lifting, so you need muscles ?. Male and Female do the same work. There will be some yard work, home maintenance and mowing in downtime.
It is very important that you can commit to a minimum of 9 weeks.
Applicants must have their own vehicle. We are remote from town.
A current negative COVID -19 test certificate will be required.
Accommodation will be provided on farm. The cost of the accommodation is $80.00 each per week and you pay this amount directly to the owners. The pay rate at Pacifica is Farm hand Level 1 and you will pay 15% tax. Superannuation is paid at a rate of 9.5% of your gross weekly wage. An average week will be approx. 38 hours. Working days are 6 days on one day off. You will be required to provide the following documents/information.
