We are looking for a new Hostel assistant Manager for our hostel in Auckland
must have experience living in hostels and be confident and friendly talking to guests, be reliable, fun and a team player and be able to commit to at least 3 months though longer is preferred.
Grafton Backpackers is a chilled out hostel 5 minutes from Queen st and K'rd and central to all the Auckland suburbs
this position is best suited to a backpacker as it is a live in position.
duties include running the reception, guiding the housekeeping and cleaning team, relaying back to the manager, good communication, cash handling, back office, reservation management, guest relations etc
Must be self motivated, attention to detail and love the hostel life,
full training will be provided
mixed shifts 5 days a week
around 35 hours a week $22.85 plus annual leave
A Private room is also provided for free along with laundry and unlimited Wifi
