Kangaringa Station is one of Australia’s leading growers in the Australian fresh produce industry.
Family owned with the main Farming Operations in Keith South Australia our land spans over 85,000 acres. Our Livestock enterprise consists of Black Angus cattle and Merino sheep. The holding sits comfortably with breeding stock at 3,000 cows and 12,000 ewes.
We are currently looking for experienced stock hands.
The Livestock Farm Hand performs the day-to-day tasks required to maintain the property such as:
General property and plant maintenance
Assisting with lamb marking, crutching and shearing
Experience with Cattle and Sheep
The successful applicant will be able to:
demonstrate experience in a similar role
follow instructions and complete tasks as assigned
demonstrate good communication and time management skills
be self-motivated and reliable
demonstrate a keen interest in sheep, cattle and general farm operations
commit to safe work practices and the highest animal welfare standards
enjoy living in a remote location (FREE ACCOMMODATION)
This position requires the applicant to have long term working rights in Australia and hold a drivers licence.
Owning your own car is required.
