We are a Mixed Crop and Sheep Farm in Kukerin WA (3 and a half hours South East of Perth) currently seeking an experienced General Farm Hand to join our small team.
As the successful applicant you will assist us with crop production/harvesting, feeding/raising of livestock and all general farming/maintenance activities.
This position will commence from end July/beginning August 2021.
The successful applicant will have:
Previous Grain Seeding & Harvest experience
Demonstrable experience in the operation of agricultural machinery & implements
Experience & knowledge of Autosteer/GPS systems
Experience of machinery maintenance, including pre-starts & servicing
Experience of handling & working with livestock
A valid & current manual drivers licence - Minimum C Class, HR or above is preferred
Be legally eligible to work in Australia
The ability to undertake physical & manual work
Excellent English Communication Skills
The willingness and flexibility to work long hours (including, early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays), during busy periods.
Package on offer:
$25-$35 per hour (depending on experience) paid fortnightly, plus superannuation contribution
Rent and Bill Free shared accommodation
Use of a vehicle for work purposes
Visa sign off if required
on-going work for the right candidate including the opportunity to go full time.
