We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager from a similar food and beverage environment who excels in strong people management and leading others. You will enjoy thriving in a busy environment as well as leading your team to ensure a welcoming environment that strives to exceed guest expectations.
About the role:
This role is essential in assisting in the effective and efficient running of front of house operations.
Assist the Café Manager in all day-to-day operations
Lead by example and be hands on with your team in all aspects of café operations
Effective management of all floor staff ensuring quality of service
Manage costs to meet targets and identify opportunities to build the business
Maintain and grow customer and supplier relationships
Deliver exceptional service, ensuring a high standard of consistency and quality
Rostering of staff
Responsible for stock management and ordering
Work with the Café Manager on budgeting and cost controls
Maintain café presentation, cleanliness and Dome integrity for your team and guests
Proven leadership experience within a fast-paced environment
Sound decision making and conflict resolution skills
Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure
Keen interest to inspire others to learn and develop
Flexibility to work Monday to Sunday between the hours of 5am - 9.30pm, with 2 RDOs per week
