HAY PROCESSING PLANT – WAGIN, REGIONAL WA – PLANT OPERATOR
Our Wagin hay processing plant (6km east of Wagin) currently has a vacancy for a fulltime Hay Plant Operator. We are looking for local applicants residing, or able to move to, within a 30 minutes drive of our site.
Plant Operators are hands on, running and maintaining the hay processing plant, housekeeping and participate in plant safety, quality and performance. They set up, operate, trouble shoot, service and maintain both fixed and mobile hay plant and equipment. Working in teams on rotating shift from 12 hour days shifts to 12 hour night shifts week about. Roles include telehandler operator, forklift driver, fixed plant operator maintainer.
No experience? We are still interested to hear from you – we provide a full training program.
The successful applicants will be:
• Committed to safety, quality and preventative maintenance
• Able to work both day and night rotating 12-hour shifts for up to 5 consecutive days
• Able to pass a pre-employment medical eg: drug screen & ability to work in a physical hay environment
Starting Rate: $29 p/hr (Annual figure depends on shift hours eg: Average 50-60hrs approx $75k – $85k p.a.)
