Thomson Forestry has two positions available for immediate start in Douglas-Daly, NT. Current role involves repairing irrigation lines and rat-baiting. Other duties include de-vining, targeted weed spraying and general plantation duties. Monotonous work requiring continuous focus and self-motivation.
All training provided.
Up to 45 hours a week
Sign off on 2nd & 3rd-year visas. 408 Visas applicable.
Eligible for relocation assistance through Harvest Trail Information Service
Twin-share accommodation included.
We provide transport too and from work.
You need to provide long-sleeved orange hi-vis shirts, lace-up, ankle-high steel-capped boots, lunch box, water bottle, and hat.

Thomson Forestry is based out of the Douglas-Daly district of the Northern Territory and employs staff working in the pastoral and silviculture industries. The main focus of the work falls within the silviculture industry dealing mainly with mahogany and sandalwood plantations. Staff carry out duties including thinning and pruning with chainsaws, chemical spraying, fire management and other property maintenance as required.
