Duration: 5-6 weeks
Our client puts the hops in your favourite beers! These positions are based within a hop growing and processing factory in Myrtleford, a beautiful country town located in northeast Victoria. As a hop trainer you will be responsible for carefully training hop vines up coconut string to assist in them growing further up the string. Video footage of the task can be provided to all applicants to ensure the role is the right fit for you.
Starting on November 1st, 2021, the job is expected to run for 5-6 weeks. Working hours will range from hours per week, with a pay rate of $26.90 per hour. Importantly, if you think you can earn more money via piece rates, you can opt to switch to this method to maximise your income potential!
Plenty of local accommodation options are available, with costs reimbursable via the Australian Government AgMove program.
Your Skills & Experience
You will need to be physically fit and able to work in roles that require repetitive bending. To be a successful candidate for the role, you will also need the following:
- Safety conscious
- Ability to work extended hours in a hot, outdoor environment
- Experience in farm hand / labouring work
- Ability to undertake work that requires repetitive bending
- Committed to working the entire duration of the project
