Blazeaid is an volunteer-based organisation that works with families and individuals in rural Australia after natural disasters such as fires and floods. Working alongside the rural families, our volunteers help to rebuild fences and other structures that have been damaged or destroyed.
Blazeaid Wauchope is looking for people to help us with a variety of tasks:
▪️Fencing & tool maintenance
▪️Cleaning & facilities maintenance
▪️Cooking & food prep
▪️Admin & office support
Food, accommodation and electricity are provided as well as a chance to make a real difference to the community.
No experience necessary, all skills taught on site. You can help for a week, or a month!
This work counts towards the Working Holiday Visa required farm work.
When we say working with Blazeaid is special, we really mean it! Here are testimonials from some recent volunteers...
Wauchope is perfect for anyone travelling alone or without a car, it has a train station and a bus link to Port Macquarie which is only 15 minutes away by car.
We get a variety of volunteers at Blazeaid from grey nomads to backpackers, to people in between jobs- you get a bit of everything but we all become family!
You can follow us on Instagram and Facebook. Get in touch via Facebook if you have any queries! @ Blazeaid Wauchope
Please note: we can only accept volunteers that are already in Australia, there is no opportunity for sponsorship as Blazeaid is a charity.
