Kurri Burri Polo Club is located in Richmond Lowlands in North Western Sydney beside the banks of the Hawkesbury River. The emphasis on this rural property is polo, hay production and cattle. At Kurri Burri we pride ourselves on our culture of POSITIVE ATTITUDE, STRONG TEAMWORK and GOOD COMMUNICATON.
The year has two polo seasons, in Spring and Autumn, the mornings focus will be on the polo ponies, the afternoons will be farm maintenance based tasks.
You will be working with 7-10 horses and be responsible for looking after all aspects of the horse’s health & welfare, mucking out, turning out, bringing in, feeding, injury prevention & treatment, general cleaning, grooming, tacking up, riding sets, exercising the horses, managing the tack & gear and grooming for the players at the weekend.

You should have a minimum of 3-5 year’s experience working with horses. Polo experience preferred but not required.

You must have a valid driving licence and your own riding gear (helmet a must) and a mobile phone. Days of work are Tuesday-Sunday every week (and feeding on Monday) during the season. On-site accommodation is available and the use of a farm vehicle.
