Job Description
Position available for a 3-6 or longer month work roster or longer. Will count for the second and third year visa.
Accommodation on site, air conditioned, free wifi
MUST HAVE INTERNATIONAL DRIVERS LICENCE AND DRIVE MANUAL VEHICLE.
Position is full time with 38 hours a week minimum paid work $20.50 hour with the possibility of more hours if wanted. We are looking for an energetic positive person to care for the chickens and egg collecting. Duties may also involve helping out in the fish shed and on the lucerne farm and doing yard and house maintenance. Working hours in each day can vary depending on work loads. This position has a variety of different roles with doing deliveries and working the market stall.
Accommodation provided on site for $140 per week. We have a self contained cabin on site for accommodation. You will be required to provide your own meals. A vehicle will be provided for you to go to town once a week to do your groceries if you do not have your own vehicle.

9Dorf Farms are a 4th generation family owned business farming in the fertile Lockyer Valley since 1918 and are passionate about sustainable farming, working with and improving the environment, producing ethically raised animals.
We are a family business and have a diverse farming operation using permaculture methods to create an ethical and sustainable farming operation. We grow lucerne and also have an aquaculture facility growing Barramundi, Murray Cod and Jade Perch fish. We also have a chicken farm housing our chickens outside in the grass and move them around our farm in "chicken caravans" on a rotational system.
