Spreader Operators – Immediate Start

Opportunities exists for Spreader Operators wanting to join our team. Vickery Bros Pty Ltd is the largest independent fertiliser distributor in Australia, covering South Western Victoria and South East South Australia. The company is an expanding family business that prides itself in providing professional services in agronomy, road transport, depot facilities and fertiliser spreading.
About the role
Primarily provide fertiliser spreading services to customers and operational support to the depot as required.
Responsibilities
• Safely, accurately and efficiently spread fertiliser on customers properties
• Proactively undertake preventative maintenance of all equipment used
• Communicate with timely and accurate information to our Logistics team to plan loading and unloading destinations
• Accurately and promptly record any fertiliser movements made into company database
• Perform the storage, handling and despatching of stock in a safe manner
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
Requirements/Experience/Skills
• Experience in the agricultural industry in operation of farm machinery, or transport industry will be looked on favourably
• Experience in delivery of bulk products via trucks desirable but not essential
• An ability to competently operate and manage mobile equipment
• A strong commitment to quality customer service
• An uncompromising approach to operating safely
• Strong work ethic
• Able to work in a team
