Job Description
We are currently seeking Pack-house Workers in Hallam, Melbourne.
- This individual will manage to understand our quality standards and can work with the machinery. This includes, but not limited to, all grading, washing and packing produce as well as the Food/Health Safety programs.
- Inspects quality issues over the inspection table on the machine.
- Acts as a liaison by maintaining effective communication with Production and Quality Assurance. This includes ensuring staff training in the correct procedures/policies for their role and operational efficiency.
- Supportive Functions:
In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions as:
- Help in the maintenance and cleaning of the equipment such as washing machine, bagging machine.
-Evaluate quality issue(s) and provide information to the Supervisor and Quality Assurance.
- Other Duties:
- Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned. Such as forklift driving if the individual has a valid forklift licence.
- Shifts:
- 5 - 6 days in a week. Some early start and some late finishes.
