ABOUT US
Elite Netting is a highly sought-after company that builds large scale protective netting structures over fruit tree crops. We have teams currently working in South Australia, New South Wales and Victoria building structures ranging from a few hectares to over 50 hectares.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE
We currently have positions available in Darlington Point NSW. Backpacker/Seasonal Worker/General Labourer looking for reliable 45+ hours per week. Strong work ethic, teamwork mindset and enjoy physically demanding work outdoors. Labour, construction, farm and machinery experience is highly regarded.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
Your initial duties will consist of assisting our tradespeople with the installation of protective structures. This involves receiving training on how to properly perform basic tasks such as threading and clipping nets, then apply these skills to achieve productivity targets.
Employees must be comfortable working at heights as many tasks are performed in Elevated Work Platforms approximately 5m from ground level. EWP training and safety equipment is supplied by Elite Netting, but previous EWP experience is highly regarded.
Casual $28 - $30 per hour + super - paid weekly.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
Current license and reliable car.
Fit, healthy, and willing to work long hours.
Enjoy working outdoors all year round.
Take pride in your work and have great attention to detail.
Enjoy working in a team.
Good communication skills.
Previous labouring experience will be an advantage.
