Job Description

Arkaroola Wilderness Sanctuary is a privately owned and operated 610 square km conservation reserve located in the spectacular northern Flinders Ranges in South Australia, 600kms north of Adelaide. Arkaroola’s unique geological, scenic, and ecological significance is recognised through the Arkaroola Protection Act of SA Parliament. Home of the famous Ridgetop Tours, Arkaroola also offers accommodation, campground, bar and restaurant, scenic flights, walking, cultural, 4WD and Astronomy tours.

We are seeking Housekeeping and Front of House staff to join our team from the end of May until the end of October. The Front of House role will include reception and bar/restaurant work, so previous hospitality and customer service experience is preferred. The Housekeeping role will include the upkeep of our motel rooms, cottages, campground, public areas and supporting our back of house operations, such as kitchen hand. The job is varied and depending on your experience you may be required in just one area or a mixture. A commitment of a minimum of 3 months is required.

Employment is on a casual basis at the Hospitality Industry (General) Award rate. On-site staff accommodation and all meals are provided at a weekly cost. Having your own vehicle is ideal, but if not, transport from Adelaide can be arranged.

We are a remote tourism and hospitality business for those looking to complete their specified work on the 417 Working Holiday Visa.
