Cafe Scrumptious is looking for a dedicated, experienced, highly motivated & organised chef to join our small family ran business on the beautiful Kangaroo Island in Kingscote SA.

Ideally we would like this person to run our cafe whilst we are off having a baby to keep the kitchen open throughout June - this person would need to be completely trustworthy so we have peace of mind through this special time… just to clarify we will always have a full time position for a chef, not just for this month! There is potential of opening more hours and more days before & after this month.

The successful candidate would have the responsibility of running the kitchen/cafe.

Would be 5 days a week - breakfast & lunch only.

Will need to be:
Experienced
Organised
Responsible
Highly motivated
Trustworthy
Strong work ethics
A commitment to provide a high standard of hygiene & food
Outgoing & confident (won’t be just back of house role - will be serving & running the show when possible)
Know your way around the kitchen in all areas
Grill experience
(Barista skills would be a bonus)
