TRADE ASSISTANTS Apply Now.
Casual position leading to full-time employment.
Key responsibilities
Ensure sufficient task analysis are completed to carry work out safely.
Perform assigned duties in a timely and safe manner.
General Painter/Blaster duties include: sandblasting of steel, sanding/prep, industrial painting, loading steel and securing materials to be sprayed within spray booths, cleaning nozzles, containers and hoses, general maintenance of equipment.
General Trade Assistant duties include: grinding, cutting, loading/unloading stock, perform assembly and dismantling operations, operate power presses, saws and other machinery, clean and prepare surfaces, conduct general workshop and yard cleanliness.
Co-ordinate and work in a team environment.
Maintain and use equipment as designed.
Ensure that work is performed as per Job Cards or ITP’s and current schedule of works. Ensure all work is carried out to quality and specification requirements and that documentation is completed on time.
Daily time cards are completed accurately and on time.
Adherence to Company procedures.
High Attention to Detail.

Moloney & Sons Engineering is a civil and structural engineering business owned and operated by the Moloney family. We are based in Rockhampton and have a small team that is continually growing. MSE delivers both civil consulting services in road design, earthworks, stormwater etc, as well as structural design through to the shop detailing, fabrication and erection of structural steel projects. We also deliver on a range of vehicle trays/trailers amongst other smaller projects. We are continually looking for enthusiastic, energetic people who have a great attitude and are eager to learn and grow.
