ABOUT US
Job Site Recyclers was founded in 2010 by Daniel Reaper. We have over 130 staff and a fleet of 100 vehicles and we’re growing fast and enjoying our small niche in the industry. We just want to play a part in keeping building sites clean and tidy, safe for the people who work on them, and get as much of the waste that we take away to be re-used, recycled, and ultimately reduced. We currently work with our builders’ estimators and assist by providing information to help reduce over ordering. We aim to recycle as much as we can, no matter how difficult, and without any financial penalty to our clients.

ABOUT THE JOB
JSR are a company that remove construction waste from building sites around Melbourne and return the waste materials to our depots in Epping, Dandenong, and Laverton to be sorted and eventually recycled.
This role requires the candidate to:
- Complete 10days of training & assessment (at Casual rates)
- General site cleaning & collection of recyclable material and bring it to the site for sorting.
- Use company tablet to track, monitor jobs and utilise for taking photos of job sites at each interval of job site
- Keep the interior and exterior of the vehicle clean and presentable in the manner
- Drive Utes with trailers to various building and construction sites
- Take all precautions for transportation by securing the load while loading/unloading
- Report any damages to vehicle or site immediately
- Follow all start and end of day procedures
- Assist with cleaning of JSR yard
- Notify head office of maintenance / service equipment if required
- General cleaning and basic maintenance of tools and equipment
- Conduct other job responsibilities as directed by the Site Supervisor
- Report to Field Supervisor on a regular basis, daily and weekly
- Participate in staff & toolbox meetings and following guidelines as directed/updated

- Have strong work ethics, are reliable and diligent

- Have unrestricted working rights in Australia / Working Holiday Visa

Basic Requirements:
- Available to start immediately.
- Victorian Drivers Licence (International Licences for Working Holiday Makers)
- Compulsory White Card. (if you do not have one, please visit this site to get your White Card https://www.eot.edu.au/online-courses/white-card/VIC/)

- Only Fully Vaccinated candidates apply
- HR / HC (Truck) Licence would be an add on.
- Available to work Full Time hours. Overtime available if interested
- The work will be ongoing for the right candidate(s).
- No special education requirements. English reading, writing and understanding compulsory

- Minimum 10days On-the-job training before you are rostered to drive alone.
- We accept non-citizens with valid visa and work permits
- If you do not have a Driver’s Licence please apply to be considered for "Offsider" roles

Job Types: Permanent and Casual roles available.
Wages: Starting at $30.16per hour (Thirty dollars and 16 cents) - CAS Level 1 Waste Management Award rates.
