We are seeking an experienced Post Office Assistant for this busy outlet located in remote Western Australia.

This is an excellent opportunity to save heaps of money and work within a great community.

This role is working across various venues owned by the hotel.

The group owns several properties in town and are a fantastic employer to work for.

As the role is based in the amazing Kimberley Region, there are spectacular sights to visit on your days off, such as gorges, canyons and caves. Learn new skills, see amazing locations and also be exposed to a fascinating culture with many significant cultural sites to visit.

Immediate Start

ASSISTANCE WITH TRAVEL FROM BROOME


Package:

$58,000-$60,000 Salary
Accommodation $93 per week + Utilities
Own room with own facilities

Duties:
Customer Service
Cash Handling
Sorting and allocation of mail to PO Boxes
General processing of postage items, packages etc
Processing of bill payments, banking
Handling money orders
Processing of applications-Working with children, police checks etc
Selling of retail items
All other duties as required
Take directions from the post office manager
This role requires a lot of training, candidates must be willing to learn.

Candidate Requirements:

Must hold a current police check
Must be vaccinated as per WA requirements
Experience with Australia Post or Banking would be preferred but not essential
Have excellent customer service skills
Ability to learn and work unsupervised
Must be seeking a long term commitment
Excellent written & verbal communication skills
