This position plays a significant role in catering for our many dining areas and providing our guests with the fuel they need for a day of adventure. From bistros to fine dining restaurants, there’s something for everyone.
Applicants must be trade certified and have demonstrated ability and experience in high-volume, high-quality food preparation. If you do not hold a qualification please apply for our 'cook or kitchenhand' role.
To be considered for this role, applicants must have:
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery, or equivalent (please attach a copy of your trade papers to your application)
Demonstrated commercial kitchen experience
Current approved Food Handlers certification
Sound knowledge and understanding of the Food Act and the ramifications to the business for non-compliance
The ability to work unsupervised as well as be a great team player
A cheerful demeanour
A strong work ethic
The ability to work well under pressure
