Warehouse coordinator

As a warehouse coordinator, you'll be responsible for a vital part of the supply chain process.

You will be in charge of many processes and systems in order to ensure goods are received and dispatched appropriately, and that productivity targets are met.

You'll also be responsible for workplace health and safety standards and for the security of the building and stock.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with sales representatives. Advise when products are out of / back in stock, prepare orders for re-stocking the van, help loading stock and sorting returns and assist with enquiries

Liaise with office staff - cross reference information regarding accounts on hold, update on inventory levels, notify when new products or products with updated packaging arrive at the warehouse

Liaise with suppliers - prepare returns to supplier, order warehouse supplies.

Transport companies - Check charges on invoices from courier companies, separate the charges between Peleguy VIC and Peleguy QLD and enter into MYOB.

Raise and follow up claims with courier companies

Coordinate and monitor the receipt, order, assembly and dispatch of goods Use space and mechanical handling equipment efficiently

Coordinate the use of automated and computerized systems where necessary

Respond to and deal with customer communication by email and telephone when necessary

Keep stock control systems up to date and make sure inventories are accurate

Plan future capacity requirements when expecting a container or large delivery from a supplier

Monitor staff performance and progress

Motivate, organize and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met or exceeded

Produce regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis Brief team on a daily basis, organize each day runs efficiently

Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment

Oversee the planned maintenance of machinery and equipment

Review weekly sales reports with comments from Yaniv Peleg every Monday. Check that all the orders were posted (unless there were any placed on hold), follow up on comments from Yaniv Peleg

Check the list of outstanding accounts before releasing new orders. If a customer has an outstanding balance, it must be cleared before a new order can be dispatched.
