MLKA Hospitality Recruitment specialises in remote, live in hospitality roles in remote, regional and outback areas Australia wide.
Escape the daily grind of the city for the relaxed environment of a remote role - accommodation packages are provided with all roles.
We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef for this busy venue located in remote Far North Queensland.
The restaurant is open for Breakfast & Dinner 7 days per week. Breakfast is a buffet catering for up to 80 pax and dinner is generally a set menu for 60-80pax.
The property features onsite accommodation and fine dining focusing on fresh local produce.
Enjoy living and working in a laid back tropical location with awesome fishing, welcoming locals and plenty to see and do on days off. Amazing sunrises and sunsets and warm weather all year round.
In this role you will work as part of a small team of 4 chefs producing high quality meals that exceed guest expectations.
Package:
$70,000 Salary
5 Day Week / 40 Hours
FREE Accommodation
Accommodation-One bedroom cabin-kitchen-Lounge-Bathroom-WIFI + Foxtel
Airfares covered from anywhere in Australia
Duties:
Assist the head chef with the day to day kitchen operations
General prep and cooking of a buffet & la carte style menu
Maintain a clean kitchen
Supervise 2 other chefs
Manage the kitchen on the head chefs days off
