We are looking for an experienced Bar Manager for this busy resort-style venue located in the spectacular Kimberley Region of remote Western Australia.
The group owns several properties in town and are a fantastic employer to work for.
As the role is based in the amazing Kimberley Region, there are spectacular sights to visit on your days off, such as gorges, canyons and caves. Learn new skills, see amazing locations and also be exposed to a fascinating culture with many significant cultural sites to visit.
This is a very busy property catering to the tourist, local and corporate market in the Kimberley Region.
ASSISTANCE WITH TRAVEL FROM BROOME
10% Super / 4 Weeks Annual Leave
Accommodation & Meals $121 per week
Own room with own bathroom
3 Meals per day
100% hands on role including hands on food & beverage service, opening and closing of bars
Staff recruitment, supervision & training
Mentoring Food & Beverage Staff
Balancing tills and night safe
Liaising with other departments to ensure the smooth running of the property
Assisting with Functions & Special Events
Guest arrivals & departures after reception hours
Adhering the RSA
General Bar security
Offering excellence in customer service
Other duties as required
WA Approved Managers licence or be able to obtain on commencement
Previous experience in a similar role
Ability to live and work in remote locations
Knowledge of CMS-Guest Centrix or similar programme
Able to work as part of a team
Full Telstra Mobile & Internet is available
Access is by sealed road or daily flights to Broome and catching the Greyhound bus from Broome
30-50 Staff live and work on site in the staff accommodation village.
Staff have full use of resort facilities including swimming pool, tennis court & basic gym
Energetic team and great company.
