Job Description
We are looking for chefs to join our small team at Melo's Italian in Potts Point.
We are open evenings only at the moment Tuesday - Saturday.
Currently we are looking to fill Thursday, Friday and Saturday shifts.
CLOSED Sunday and Monday.
We are also looking to expand into Friday and Saturday lunches - so key team members will have the option for lunch service.
Shifts tend to start around 2pm for prep and are generally finished by 11pm
The restaurant is open from 5pm serving both dine in customers and take aways
To be successful in this role, you will have experience in a busy fast paced kitchen and will bring a fresh and innovative approach to our team.
Knowledge of Italian food is advantageous.
We have 3 sections within the kitchen - Pizza, Pasta and Grill
Experience working the pass and coordinating the flow of service is a big advantage.
Initially starting as a casual position - this could become full time for the right person.
Various hours available - from 2 or 3 shifts per week through to full time
