The Nevertire Hotel is on the hunt for an experienced cook or chef to head up our busy bistro. Our renowned kitchen is open seven days a week for lunch & dinner and offers a range of classic and modern pub meals, attracting customers from near and far to our “destination” venue.
Working with the owners and friendly team, this full-time position requires an enthusiastic individual with a passion for top quality food & service. You must have efficient time management and be able to work under pressure and independently in a fast-paced, busy kitchen.
Manage and oversee all aspects of commercial pub kitchen
Prepare and cook meals to order from customers
Monitoring and upholding hygienic work practices
Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of the kitchen
Work with management team for ordering and menu creation
Monitoring stock rotation and stock control to minimise wastage and prevent contamination
Wage negotiable based on experience. Weekend availability essential - Wednesday to Sunday roster, with one weekend off a month. Single accommodation available.
