We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager for these Hotel Based venues located in the Kimberley Region of remote Western Australia.

This role is working across 2 venues in a hands on capacity. Both venues have public bars, onsite accommodation and dining facilities. Catering to the local and tourist market.

The group owns several properties in town and are a fantastic employer to work for.

As the role is based in the amazing Kimberley Region, there are spectacular sights to visit on your days off, such as gorges, canyons and caves. Learn new skills, see amazing locations and also be exposed to a fascinating culture with many significant cultural sites to visit.

Package:
$95,000 Salary
Discounted Accommodation & Meals

Duties:
Assist the General Manager with the day to day management of two venues in a hands on capacity
Open & close of venues
Management, mentoring and training of up to 50 staff
Staff rosters
Cashing up & balancing of tills, safe counts, general cash handling
Hands on work across the property-assisting in all areas as required Bar-Restaurant-Housekeeping-Office
Undertaking monthly stock takes and stock control reports
Work with department heads to ensure the smooth operations of the property
Manage the property in the absence of the General Manager
Liaise with local police, liquor licensing
Ensure great community communications
Ideal Candidate:
The successful candidate will have a strong background in Bars / Restaurants
Preferably previous experience living and working in a remote location
Hold or be able to obtain a WA Approved Managers License
Have a current police clearance prior to commencement
Be a hands on assistant manager and lead by example
