Food & Beverage / Restaurant Manager, Spectacular QLD Island
MLKA Hospitality Recruitment specialises in remote, live in hospitality roles in remote, regional and outback areas Australia wide.
We are seeking an experienced Food & Beverage / Restaurant Manager for this spectacular island resort located in Far North Queensland. This is a great opportunity to live and work in one of the most sought after destinations in Australia. Wake up everyday in Paradise, surrounded by nature, crystal clear waters and sandy white beaches.
This role involves managing all aspects of the restaurant, reporting to the General Manager and working closely with the Head Chef.
This role will suit someone who genuinely enjoys interaction with customers and establishing relationships with guests, rather than just traditional table service.
Candidates must have a passion for fine food and have excellent wine knowledge. Knowledge of cocktails, local and imported wines and beverages desirable.
Spend days off snorkeling, exploring the island, relaxing on the beach and watching spectacular sunsets.
Package:
$65,000 per annum
Own Villa Accommodation supplied
5 day week
Meals are not included however cooking facilities are available and can order supplies from the mainland.
We are seeking an experienced hospitality candidate with the following skills:
Excellent food and wine knowledge
Fine dining experience preferred
Proven ability to manage a small team of staff
Excellent communication and personal presentation
Experience with Stock ordering
Stock control
Ability to design drinks menus, wine lists, cocktail menus
Knowledge of staff Rostering
Able to exceed guest expectations by offering excellence in customer service
Property Details:
Transfers from the mainland to the island will be arranged for the successful candidate.
The island does have Optus and Telstra Coverage.
