Job Description

Aurora Dairies are currently seeking multiple Farm Hands in the Mt Gambier region of South Australia where we operate multiple dairy farms.

Cheap accomodation is available, we encourage backpackers including couples or groups of friends to apply. Up to 50 hours per week work available per worker at award rate (inclusive of casual loading). Ongoing positions available for those looking to stay long term.

We have mutiple roles available at this farm, which involves completing various tasks in the following areas:
-Driving and upholding Animal Health and Safe Operating Procedures
-All aspects of milking
-Animal husbandry
-Pasture management
-Machinery operation
-Repairs and maintenance.

The desired skills and experience for this opportunity are:
-Past dairy or agriculture industry experience is highly desirable but we can train the right person
-Committed to ensuring a safe workplace
-Reliable and punctual
-Good work ethic and positive attitude
-Team player.
