Orchard Assistant

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business as a casual Orchard Assistant on our Pecan Orchard just outside Moree, NSW for a period of up to 8 weeks over the harvest period. Critical to the success of this position will be your ability to work both independently and as part of a team displaying a positive “can do, will do” attitude.

Duties include but not limited to
- Demonstrated commitment to safety first culture
- Demonstrated ability to do physical work out doors
- Machinery operation including spraying, mulching, harvesting
- Flexibility to work shift work, including nights when required
- Team player with strong work ethic
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Manual tasks as required.

Essential Criteria, Skills and Experience
- Drivers licence

- ChemCert ticket
