Facility Manager / Venue Manager

Position Overview

Manage all aspects of site including retail, hospitality, customer service and site presentation.

Award Coverage
• Classification Managerial staff
• Under the direction of senior management is required to manage and co-ordinate the activities of a relevant area or areas of the premises
• Directs staff to ensure they carry out their duties in the relevant area or areas of the business
• Implements policies, procedures and operating systems

Job Functions

• Acting as a liaison to senior management to keep them up to date.
• Responsible for driving sales, including presentation, stock management and promotions.
• Responsible for ensuring customer service levels are at a maximum.
• Completes operational requirements by by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures and following up on work results.
• Provides all site training and ensure compliance with operations manual and visual standard compliance and personal development plans.
• Maintains staff results by coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
• Manage staff labour costs vs sales
• Achieves financial objectives by supporting an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analysing variances; initiating corrective actions.
• Identifies current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand service requirements.
• Secures stock and assets by implementing security systems and measures.
• Responsible for Occupational Health and Safety of the site providing a safe and clean environment.
• Maintains the stability and reputation of the business by complying with legal requirements.
• Scheduling of all maintenance and preventative
• Supports marketing strategy changes by reviewing operating and financial statements and departmental sales records.
• Management and operation of IT software in relation to Point of Sale systems etc
