Tangalooma Island Resort - Public Area Attendants/ External Cleaners

Located on Moreton Island, Tangalooma Island Resort is located approximately one hour from Brisbane. The Resort is renowned for its Dolphin care and research programs. Dreaming of a sea change, this opportunity might be for you!

We are currently seeking casual Public Area Attendants/External Cleaners to keep Tangalooma Island Resort looking presentable and clean! The right candidates will take pride in their work and be excited to join our dynamic Externals team.

Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- The first morning clean of the main resort centre
- Maintain cleanliness of assigned public areas including restrooms, hallways, footpaths.
- Window cleaning and building cleans
- Emptying of pathway bins

This role will involve both indoor and outdoor work and focuses on ensuring that all of our public guest areas and exterior staff accommodation areas are kept neat and tidy.

You will have:
- Previous experience in external cleaning, commercial cleaning, or cleaning of public areas.
- Experience in dealing with chemicals
- Be efficient and have a sense of urgency
- Be reliable and trustworthy
- A Working Safely as Heights Ticket is desirable.

Successful candidate must enjoy working within a team, have strong communication skills and a positive and enthusiastic approach when it comes to challenging yourself to develop and grow. The role is labour intensive with early start times and therefore candidates must be physically fit, a team player and enjoy working in the outdoors through all weather conditions.

Alternative team leader/senior roles for candidates with the right experience and qualifications may be considered.
