MLKA Hospitality Recruitment specialises in remote, live in hospitality roles in remote, regional and outback areas Australia wide.

We are seeking an experienced Duty Manager for this busy venue in remote Queensland.

This is a very hands on Duty Manager role and candidates need to be willing to be hands on across all areas of the hotel when required. This is a rotational 7 day roster working predominately nights.

The venue has gaming machines, busy public bar, restaurant and detached bottleshop. As the duty manager you will have the capacity to work all areas including bar, floor, gaming and functions and will have previous experience in staff management and the day to day running of a multi outlet venue.

- $65,000 Base Salary

- 100% Working behind the bar-making drinks, serving drinks, clearing tables, Stocking fridges & shelves
- Cleaning & changing of beer lines and kegs
- Counting & Balancing Tills
- General gaming payouts
- Customer Service
- Ensuring customer safety at all times
- Other duties as required
- Other Directions as given by the GM

Candidates Must Have:
- Extensive product knowledge and be able to work at a fast pace and enforce the Local AMP rules relevant to the area
- Hold a Current Qld. RSA & RSG & QLD Approved Managers
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Strong Hospitality Retail Experience – Product knowledge
- Excellent communication & customer service skills
- Ability to work unsupervised with time management skills
- Ability to think outside the square

Other Information:
- There are around 20-30 staff live and work on site
- Access via daily flights
