Street (Pole) Poster Distributor - Casual; 6 - 20 hrs

Since the 1991 Sydney Posters have been providing poster print & distro services to the music, arts, entertainment and fashion industries.

We assist to promote events by displaying thousands of street (pole) posters every week for the biggest, smallest, newest & coolest festivals, concerts and gigs. Our distributors are at the heart of what we do — making sure posters are displayed professionally and reliably across Sydney.

We are looking for motivated, energetic, reliable and safety-conscious people to join our team as Pole Poster Distributors. This is outdoor, physical work that involves walking briskly, carrying supplied materials, and safely attaching posters to electricity and light poles along set routes “runs”.

You’ll work independently but with clear systems, training, and ongoing support.

Key Responsibilities
* Affix posters methodically and professionally from pre-packed poster “runs” of 100–300 posters.
* Ensure posters are displayed high, straight with plenty of tape, and legible from the road.
* Photograph each poster using your phone and upload to Google Drive (required for payment).
* Log working hours using Intuit Time app. Paid weekly.
* Remove old posters as required and recycle materials responsibly.
* Maintain safety at all times — no headphones, stay alert around traffic.

Requirements
* Able-bodied with good mobility, vision, and hearing.
* Comfortable with outdoor, physical, and sometimes repetitive work.
* Fluent spoken English (for occasional interactions with the public or police).
* Self-discipline and reliability - mimimum 6 hours (two small runs) per week. 12 - 20 preferred.
* Brisk walking pace and ability to meet quality & quantity expectations (50 posters per hour after 2 weeks).
* Bike or e-bike preferred (helps reduce travel time).

Pay & Conditions
* Award-free casual position (Fair Work minimum standards apply).
* 37.50 per hour + 12% superannuation. + 6.50 phr if car required /supplied.
* Paid from the first to last poster, additional travel pay may be negotiated.
* Training/trial run (first 2 hours) is unpaid.
* Shifts usually run 2 – 6 hours. Posters usually delivered to you.
* Regular or Flexible hours – mornings, afternoons, or evenings, weekdays or weekends.

Important Notes
* The work is legal in many areas but sometimes posters are considered “tolerated” rather than formally approved.
* Occasionally police may issue warnings or fines (rare).
* Sydney Posters has a long standing reputation of respecting and supporting staff.
* Safety is our #1 priority: you must work sober, alert, and respect the public, and authorities.
